SAM Heitman is officially crowned champion of the inaugural ClassicMXRider.com Pre-68 Championship after the final round of the series, due to take place at Marks Tey on 13th October, was cancelled because of a waterlogged circuit.
Heitman sat in second-place for the majority of the season with some fantastic, consistent rides aboard his 500 Boretech Triumph Metisse. He took the lead from former series leader, Nick Archer, at round 7 at Maylandsea back in August.
Aaron Graves takes second position in the championship and proved to be one of the stars of the series. He rode the first half of the season on a 350cc BSA and still managed regular top-6 positions despite giving away 150cc to all the other riders in the series.
